The 2024 Republican National Convention resembled a well-orchestrated circus, with Trump as the ringmaster and head clown. The biggest elephant in the room was the notable absence of the traditional Republican Party, which has succumbed to Trump’s dominance. This highlights a significant shift within the party. Figures like Tucker Carlson, Hulk Hogan, and Kid contributed to the circus-like atmosphere. Their roles served to reinforce Trump’s control and the absurdity of the event.   Kid Rock’s rant with the lyrics “Fight, Fight” shows how rapidly the imagery of the attempted assignation is being used as propaganda.   The United States is heading towards a significant political crisis which could result in it becoming a nominal democracy.   The warnings of a potential future authoritarian government under Donald Trump is evident.     He fits the model of an autocrat such as Putin, Orban or Pinochet   This is ignored by the Republican Party and his cult followers.   He is taking the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025   as a blueprint for his return to power.   Trump denies knowledge of Project 2025 though many of its authors and editors are former members of Trump’s previous staff.    The Republicans at various levels of government, along with the Supreme Court, seem to be paving the way for his rise to power   Trump's claims of ignorance about Project 2025 are likely another example of his well-documented pattern of falsehoods.
